Get up close and personal with Twin Creek from the 2.9-mile Yellow Trail. Catch and release a few fish at the Dogwood Pond without an Ohio fishing license. Then, scramble up a ravine and edge across the ridge tops. Expect some steady inclines with some stairs and a boardwalk in the mix. Just off the trail, be sure to spend some time looking out across the Twin Creek Valley from High View, an awesome park feature. Keep your eyes peeled for some rare grassland birds such as northern harriers, bobolinks, and grasshopper sparrows. Hikers on this trail will enjoy ravines and mature hardwood forest. In the spring look for wildflower such as Twin Leaf. Its hard to beat this trail for the yellows, reds, and oranges of fall color.
