This trail through the South Park section of Taylorsville MetroPark takes hikers through managed grassland and floodplain forests along the Great Miami River Corridor. This park, like the others adjacent to Miami Conservancy District flood control dams, are protected as open space by flood easements. In high water events, these trails are frequently under water, so monitor the situation carefully before heading out.
Fishing is permitted in the ponds along the trail, but a Ohio fishing license is required and state limits apply.
