Mother Lode remains one of Tahoe Donner's most popular trails.  Upper Mother Lode begins at the top of Hawk's Peak.  Mother Lode continues from Hasting's and brings trail goer's through diverse terrain to meet up with the Firewalker doubletrack.  Connect to the Hidden Gem trail for access to the Euer Valley.
