Drop Off Center:
The City of Gulf Shores operates a drop-off recycling facility located at 160 W. 36th Avenue. All items must be sorted into the proper bins. Please note we do not accept medical waste, aerosol cans, paint or tires.
Items accepted at the Drop Off Recycling Center:

- Paper
- Aluminum Cans
- Household Batteries
- Glass Jars & Bottles
- Scrap Metal
- Tin Cans

Household Medical Waste:

Special Recycling Days
The City of Gulf Shores will periodically host special recycling drives where the public can drop off items that are not normally accepted. These items include electronics, fluorescent lightbulbs and paint.
