A rusted metal gate mounted on wooden posts marks the North Trailhead,  on the east side of Frank Parrish Road adjacent to the North Parking Lot.  Hikers and Equestrians can access Trails 3 and 7 through walkways around each side of the gate.

Note: Trail 3 supports both hiking and horseback riding, while horseback riding is prohibited on Trail 7.

Trails 5 and 8 are accessible on the west side of the North Parking Lot, and the other end of the Trail 8 Loop is just north of the North Trailhead at a yellow gate marking the entrance to the gravel Buford Access Road.
