This ride loop is entirely within the City of Albuquerque limits and utilizes several multi-use paved trails. If you head North on the North Diversion Channel Trail, you will end up near the General Mills Factory, which often leaves the scent of your morning cereal in the air- hence the name "Fruit Loop". You catch the Paseo del Norte Trail and head West towards the Paseo del Bosque Trail south until you hit Tingley Beach, once there you can use several on-street bicycle facilities to get back to the North Diversion Channel Trail or (NDC).  20 miles.
