On this Daycation with Imagination, you and your little ones will run, crawl, jump, and fly as you play through Tigard’s brand new Dirksen Nature Park. As you follow this Daycation through the oak savanna, along meadows, and to wetlands, you’ll imagine you’re deer, beaver, hawks and more. Enjoy the super fun new nature play areas, see if you can find all of the items from the playground’s built-in scavenger hunt, visit the homes of the forest fairies, and learn some fun facts about the plants and animals of the Willamette Valley. Finish with a walk through the wetlands, then head over to Sanchez Taqueria for some delicious food and pan dulce to wrap up this Daycation.
*To add even more to your adventure, Dirksen Nature Park is right on Fanno Creek Trail, so bring along the bikes and go for a ride too! Features: A restored oak savanna, wetlands, meadows and a brand new nature playground, and lunch and pan dulce from one of our favorite taquerias.
