This 166-acre regional park, located 15 miles north of Spokane, serves the communities of Chattaroy, Colbert, Elk, and the City of Deer Park. The spring-fed lake has a surface area of approximately 35 acres with associated wetlands and upland forest. Park amenities include play equipment, hiking trails, picnic shelters, BBQ areas, restrooms, volleyball courts and a swimming beach. There are no lifeguards, so swim at your own risk. The lake is also popular for fishing under special youth rules (see current fishing regulations).
